Description
Steel member optic fiber cable, The fibers, 250μm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus material. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. At the center of the cable core is a metal reinforcement core. For certain types of fiber optic cables, a layer of polyethylene (PE) is added to the metal reinforcement core. The loose tubing (and filling rope) is stranded around the central strengthening core into a compact and circular cable core, and the gaps in the cable core are filled with water-blocking filler, the cable is formed with a polyethylene sheath.
